Terms of Service
These terms govern your access to and use of the State Plus Insurance website, including its quote-request and contact features. Please read them before using the site.
Effective and last updated: September 4, 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website. You must be at least 18 years old, or otherwise have legal capacity to enter into these terms, to submit a quote request.
2. Website purpose
The website provides general information about insurance products and a way to request contact from State Plus Insurance. Website content is educational and informational. It is not legal, tax, financial, medical, or individualized insurance advice and should not replace a review of your circumstances by an appropriately licensed professional.
3. Quote requests do not bind coverage
Submitting a form does not create an insurance policy, bind coverage, guarantee eligibility, or confirm a premium. Any website indication, estimate, or advisor discussion remains subject to complete application information, underwriting, carrier approval, policy terms, exclusions, limits, required signatures, and payment of any required premium.
Coverage becomes effective only when confirmed in writing by an authorized insurer or licensed representative. Do not cancel or change existing coverage until replacement coverage has been formally confirmed. Website forms must not be used to report claims, request immediate policy changes, or seek emergency assistance.
4. Accuracy of information
You agree to provide information that is accurate, current, complete, and yours to provide. Insurance decisions may depend on the accuracy of information supplied during the application and underwriting process. You are responsible for reviewing carrier applications, proposals, declarations, and policy documents and promptly correcting any errors.
5. Permitted use
You may use the website only for lawful personal or business insurance inquiries. You may not:
- submit false, fraudulent, misleading, or unauthorized information;
- interfere with the website, test vulnerabilities without authorization, introduce malicious code, or evade security controls;
- use automated tools to scrape, copy, overload, or access the website except as permitted by law and our published instructions;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or authority; or
- use website content in a way that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights.
6. Electronic communications
When you provide an email address or phone number, you agree that we may respond electronically or by telephone regarding your inquiry. Selecting the quote-form consent checkbox authorizes contact about the requested insurance services. Consent to be contacted is not a condition of purchasing insurance, and you may revoke consent through any reasonable method, including replying to a message or contacting us at the details below.
Message and data rates may apply if text messaging is used. Delivery is subject to your service provider and is not guaranteed. You are responsible for keeping your contact information current.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information submitted through the website. By using the website, you acknowledge those practices.
8. Intellectual property
The website's design, text, graphics, logos, software, and other content are owned by State Plus Insurance or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and print reasonable portions for your personal, noncommercial use. No other license or right is granted without prior written permission.
9. Third-party services and links
The website may rely on or link to third-party services, including insurance carriers and technology providers. We do not control third-party terms, content, availability, underwriting decisions, or privacy practices. A link or integration does not necessarily constitute an endorsement, and your use of third-party services may be governed by separate terms.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or suitable for every purpose, or that all content will always be current or complete. Insurance products, rates, discounts, and availability vary by applicant, risk, carrier, and jurisdiction.
Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, State Plus Insurance and its officers, employees, representatives, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from website use, inability to use the website, reliance on website content, or unauthorized access to data. Any direct liability will be limited to the amount, if any, you paid specifically to use this website.
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law and do not alter rights or obligations under an issued insurance policy.
12. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify State Plus Insurance against third-party claims, losses, or expenses arising from your unlawful use of the website, material violation of these terms, or infringement of another person's rights. This provision does not require indemnification for conduct for which indemnification cannot lawfully be required.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another law must apply. Subject to applicable law, disputes relating to the website will be brought in a state or federal court with proper jurisdiction in Indiana. Before filing a claim, the parties are encouraged to contact one another and attempt a good-faith informal resolution.
14. Changes, severability, and contact
We may update these terms as the website, services, or legal requirements change. Updated terms take effect when posted with a revised effective date. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
